With Julie’s injury, you might imagine that things have gotten quite busy for me. Also very confusing. It’s tough to juggle all of the responsibilities of taking care of someone full time on top of everything else I was trying to do before. My entire holiday weekend, in fact, was pretty much running from place to place, building ramps, helping Liam Jr. get used to driving again, etc. I pretty much stopped everything else. My energy levels are at an all time low, actually, so this complicates things quite a bit.
Please don’t take that to be a complaint. It’s reality.
Now, of course, we also have the challenge of figuring out how she’s going to continue participating in the podcast while she heals. This has become an additional challenge to the idea of recording our next episode. And as such, and given the weight of everything going on, also the last thing I’m really concerned with.
As such, I’m weighing the importance of continuing the podcast in the meantime. While I haven’t decided one way or another, please understand that the next publication of the podcast (which was recorded over a week ago) is probably our last for at least another week. As I have to go back to work tonight, it’s very unlikely that I will have the time or energy to record even a solo podcast until at least Saturday or Sunday.
I’m pretty sure no one will see this message, but I figured I’d post anyway just in the event that someone’s curious enough to look up the site for updates. I would also like to point out that we’re reaching financial bottom during this trying time, and as such have reached out to the community for help.
